Abstract

|
According to WWD beauty report(2006), American 25 companies, EU 32 companies, Japanese 8 companies and Korean 2 companies are included at 2005 world-wide 70 cosmetics enterprises which total sale is amount to 130 billion dollar size. It shows the competitive power of the United States, Europe and Japan. In this paper, these international regulation systems were compared with domestic cosmetics regulation systems in the light of the regulation’s philosophy(objectives), scope of regulation(definition of cosmetics), safety of cosmetics, pre-market control system, in-market control system and labeling regulation.
